A case for the exposed edges
The outer shell adds a replaceable layer around the watch-body edges that meet desks, doorways and equipment. It is intended to help with routine scuffs, scratches and light contact while keeping the watch’s original hardware underneath.
Display coverage included
The separate tempered-glass component adds coverage over the screen surface. Because the case and glass are distinct pieces, you can see exactly what each part does when you install the set and inspect it after wear.
The openings follow the watch model
A Garmin case needs more than the right diameter. The named model determines the bezel shape and control positions. The correct selection lets you align the case with the buttons and check access before wearing it.

Before you choose
Keep it looking its best
Start with a clean, dry watch. Align the tempered glass squarely, then seat the outer case evenly around the controls. Remove trapped dust, sweat and moisture periodically. Replace glass that is cracked or any case that becomes distorted or no longer fits securely.
What is included in the two-piece set?
You receive one selected protective outer case and one separate tempered-glass display cover. The Garmin watch and its original band are not included. Choose the model and finish for the complete protective set before adding it to your cart.
Can I use the Fenix 8 51mm case on Descent Mk3i?
Choose the dedicated Descent Mk3i 51mm option. The matching diameter does not establish matching bezel geometry or control openings. Fenix 8 and Descent are listed separately so you can select the appropriate case for the actual watch body.
What is the best order for installation?
Clean the display and outer body first so no grit is trapped underneath. Align the glass component squarely, then align the outer case around the controls and seat it evenly. Check every button and edge before regular use; do not force a misaligned case.
Does DuraShield make the watch waterproof or impact-proof?
No. The case and tempered glass add practical coverage for ordinary wear, but they cannot prevent every scratch or impact. They do not increase Garmin’s water-resistance rating. Follow the watch maker’s guidance and remove trapped moisture after exposure.
How do I know when to replace a component?
Inspect the glass and case after hard contact. Replace a cracked display cover, a distorted case or any component that no longer seats correctly. Continuing to use a damaged protector can compromise fit and leave rough edges or trapped debris against the watch.
